Why live music instead of recorded? Nothing can enhance an event, and add a touch of class better than a live string ensemble. There are no wires to trip on, no power to worry about, and most of all, no concern about the music “being turn up to high”. With the soft sounds of a live string ensemble in the air, your event will be an affair to remember.
What experience do you have? All members of Sequoia are professional musicians who have attained music degrees, and are continuing their education on many levels to maintain musical excellence. Members perform regularly with professional orchestras including Boise Baroque and The Boise Philharmonic. Additionally, many of the performers are teachers in private studios and schools.
How much of a deposit do I need to put down? We only require a $50.00 non-refundable deposit to hold your event date. We operate on a first come, first serve basis in terms of booking a date.
Do you have a demo I can listen to? We will soon have streaming audio on the site from the actual performers of Sequoia. Check back later to hear the audio samples!
Is their a list of musical selection I can choose from? If there are specific pieces you would like for your event, let us know during the consultation so that we can plan to cover your request!
What if I need you to play longer than originally planned? If your event requires the performers to stay longer, they will happy to do so, but you will be billed the standard hourly rate for each hour over. ($300.00 an hour for a quartet, 250.00 an hour for a trio).
Do you ever run any specials? On occasion, we may offer promotional specials for specific events, such as the holidays. Check back here on our website often to see if there are any special running!
What methods of payment do you except? Currently we accept cash, check, and money order.
How far out can I make my reservation? There are currently no limitations.
What is your cancellation policy? You may cancel at least 24 hours in advance, however the deposit is non-refundable.
