Jonelle uses an individualized approach to support students of all ages, encouraging each student to trust their talent and create their own musical path.
By prioritizing intrinsic motivation and open conversation, she fosters autonomy and empowers students to take on age appropriate responsibilities both in the studio and at home.ââ Her students grow into lifelong participants in the arts, whether they are learning for personal appreciation or pursuing serious, advanced study.â

Grounded in a Bachelor of Music Education, her teaching is rooted in child development and gifted education. Lessons are carefully structured to build practical, well-rounded musicianship through core skills including ear training and collaborative duet playing.

Lesson Location & Formatsâ
Lessons are held in person at Telford and Sons Violins (Boise ID), online via FaceTime/Zoom, and scheduled in weekly 15, 30, or 45 minute time slots.â
Tuition and
âTuition & Attendance

Rates: Monthly tuition rates range from $80 - $250, payable at the first lesson of each month via cash or check.

Commitment: Enrollment is at-will and weekly attendance preserves your reserved time slot.

Missed lessons: Tuition secures your weekly spot, therefore missed lessons are not refunded or deducted, and make-up lessons are handled on a case-by-case basis.
Pedagogical Alignment & Consistency
Open communication regarding any external musical activities or additional coaching is requested to maintain technical consistency and prevent student confusion.

Parent's Role: Parents facilitate a calm and predictable practice routine.

Student's Role: Students practice on a "most days" basis to take ownership of their progress.

Growth Opportunities: Students may participate in festivals and local performance events through the studio.

Calendar & Holidays
âThe studio follows the Boise Public Schools calendar for major breaks, and Telford and Sons is closed on Federal Holidays.
