For more than 30 years Jonelle has taught and encouraged musicians through her private violin studio, Sequoia Strings, located at Telford and Sons Violins in Boise ID.

Jonelle uses an individualized approach to support students of all ages, encouraging each student to trust their talent and create their own musical path.

Her students grow in different ways - from appreciating music to serious study - and are encouraged to become a lifelong participant in the arts.

Her teaching is grounded in child development and technical foundations including ear training, sight reading, bowing technique, and collaborative duet playing.
